Job Description
Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify and diagnose psychological, emotional or behavioural issues and disorders.
Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes.
Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal social, educational and vocational development and adjustment.
Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions.
Provide specialist neuropsychological assessment for conditions causing cognitive impairment as well as evaluation for complex treatment such as epilepsy surgery.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team to help patient achieve their treatment goals.
Teaching and learning (continuing professional development).
Educational Requirements and Experience:
Undergraduate Degree in Psychology.
Preferable of minimum of 5 years Postgraduate clinical training and experience.
Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology is essential.
Eligible for registration with the Allied Health Council of Brunei Darussalam.
Experience with assessment and treatment of patients with neurological disorders is essential.
