Registrar and Director, Student Engagement
The Registrar and Director, Student Engagement reports directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer (DVC/CEO) and is responsible for providing leadership and direction in all aspects of student engagement, administration and management. The position is also responsible for the overall planning in terms of operations and budgeting, setting divisional goals and monitoring performance as well as ensuring that all activities are carried out to the highest professional standards and to provide the highest level customer service to all students and parents of the University
The Director, as a senior member of the University, is also expected to contribute to the effective running of the University more broadly by active involvement in other activities and participation in relevant committees including the Executive Group, and with Swinburne Melbourne.
The Senior Administrator is responsible for areas as designated by the Manager, information Technology which include:
Guide and set security standards for both systems and network infrastructure;
Develop and implement and on-going risk assessment program targeting information security;
Recommend methods for vulnerability detection and remediation;
Develop, implement and enforce the University’s security policies;
Review current existing infrastructure in relation to security best practices; and
Coordinate and conduct incident response and special system reviews.
