Job Description
BCI Malaysia Quality Manager, directly (administerial) reporting to BCI Malaysia General Manager (currently Bi Shengyang), and indirectly (functional) reporting to BCI China Senior Quality Manager (currently Jedi Yang),
Responsible for following activities in Malaysia:
Develop quality function oriented with customer/Project
Quality engineer and inspector team management
Quality inspecting/testing laboratory (and sub-out resources) management
Set up an ISO based quality/safety/healthy management system, in time get certification to fit business needs
Supply base quality development and management
In-house quality control process development and management
Driving problem solving process and continuous improvement topics
BCI global quality activities engagement
Requirement
College degree or above, major in mechanical or relevant field.
At least 10 years working experience (mandatory) on quality position, while at least 3 to 5 years on QA/QC manager or supervisor position
Understand mechanical drawings, familiar with the mechanical industry processes.
Familiar with the machining, stamping, roll forming, casting, welding process and products, and different surface treatment inspection methods.
Familiar with different kinds of measurement tools, inspection gauges, instruments (e.g. CMM)
Capable of troubleshooting, problem solving (8D/5Why…), etc
Understand statistical analysis and control, able to perform process capability study. Have automotive industry background or understand AIAG 5 manuals would be a plus.
Motivated, be able to travel a lot, be able to communicate with oversea people in a timely manner.Skillful with MS office, bi-language (Chinese/English) communication, can communicate with oversea customers or colleagues via email or phone calls fluently.
