Business Development Manager – Siemens – Selangor – Malaysia

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to own the Business Development Manager – Hospital Projects role. You will take the lead to drive all aspects of Siemens Healthineers products and solutions to government and private hospital projects in Malaysia, including greenfield, brownfield, turnkey, and Public-Private Partnership hospital projects.
You communicate proactively and are target-oriented in different daily business situations and with different personalities; able to create a situation that leads to understanding the messages of each other; initiate, develop, structure, and sustain discussion by suggestions for proceeding, giving examples.
You can not only quickly assimilate and connect various pieces of information, understanding interrelationships and identifying issues and trends but you are confident in communicating your findings and suggestions to a variety of stakeholders in clear concise language together with your excellent presentation skills by using the appropriate presentation methods and medium and combines them to transport the message in a target-oriented and pleasant way.
Establishes and maintains lasting and effective working relationships based on mutual trust and respect by consistently keeping others informed and initiating an active exchange of knowledge. You can demonstrate a cooperative spirit and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment. You can initiate collaborative decision-making processes and champion win-win solutions by planning and handling multiple and complex tasks and challenging timelines while dealing with unexpected situations.
You have deep and very specific knowledge about the customer value chain, processes, and industry and take competitive advantage of it. You provide others with customer knowledge to achieve high satisfaction and business success.

Here are some details on key areas of responsibility:
Understand thoroughly the potential for hospital projects in the Malaysia market- market base, needs and identify opportunities for Siemens Healthineers offering
Develop an internal strategy to grow hospital projects related to business, and effectively communicate directly to the sales team and sales management
Active participation in lobbying initiatives to make government, consultants, contractors, and hospital users aware of Siemens Healthineers offerings
Responsible for customer engagement, quotation, tender, and equipment proposal submissions
Participate in sales activities with sales teams e.g.: product demonstrations, customers presentation, etc.
Plan all resources required in the selling process. e.g., project planning, financing, procurement, room planning, etc.
Understand, quantify, and manage the project and bid risks
Lead the sales team in complex hospital project discussions and negotiations
Ensures smooth order handover to Project and Customer Service departments
Develop and foster professional networks within the hospital project relevant stakeholders

Key qualifications and experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business management, marketing, or sales in the healthcare industry
Degree in Engineering/Medicine/Radiography/Imaging/Medical Physics or an equivalent academic education
Commensurate understanding and experience of healthcare delivery with demonstrable experience in understanding customer’s requirements and creating proposals to fit their needs
Demonstrable expertise in the Healthcare industry with practical experience in sales and customer management
