• Serves and creates a friendly environment for guest and employees.
• Answers questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation, ingredients and accompanying items.
• Takes drink orders at guest greeting, delivers beverages and offers appetizers. Take entire order, repeats orders to guest for clarification.
• Rings up orders on Micros quickly and in proper sequence and uses appropriate abbreviations and charges.
• Places accurate orders (writes or memorizes) and attends to guest needs when delivering. Checks back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Observes guests to respond to any additional needs.
• Totals bill and presents check upon removal of last plate or upon request. Accepts payment and provides change or voucher within one minute of guests’ payment. Follows appropriate accounting procedures for closing checks or vouchers.
• Gives a warm farewell and invites guest to return.
• Keeps table clean, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/ effectiveness.
• At all times provides a favorable image of Tut’s to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all its area of endeavor.
• Carry out any other related duties or ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the Company.
