Instrumentation & Control Technician – Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd -Federal Territory/Kuala Lumpur

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
Responsible to independently and
Assist in monitoring and analysing to improve plant control and instrumentation installation to ensure reliable and dependable
quality services with minimum disruption to plant operations.
effectively conduct daily routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plant Control & Instrumentation (C&l) equipment.
Assist in monitoring and analysing to improve plant control and instrumentation installation to ensure reliable and dependable quality services with minimum disruption to plant operations.
Comply all the maintenance activities with statutory legal regulatory and legislation requirements such as Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS), Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Electricity Supply Act 1994, Integrated Management System, Information Security Management System and etc.
Capable to carry out calibration of field instruments and troubleshooting the field instruments fault causation independently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or higher learning institutes or Technical Certificate in the Electrical/lnstrumentation & Control Discipline with no less than 5 years’ experience in the related industry.
Optional requirements: Authorised Entrant & Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP) or Authorised Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor (AGTES).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in power generation field with work experiences in control and instrumentation field maintenance of CCGT or conventional plants or 5 years’ experience as control & instrumentation in other related industry.

Knowledge and experience in field device calibration such
as pressure/ temperature gauge, switch and transmitter. Experience with Beamex MOS/6 calibrators and Rosemount/ Honeywell/ E+H transmitters would be added advantage.​
