Job Description
• installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
• monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
• troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• replacing parts as required
• providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
Skills & Ability
• Able to perform problem solving of PC desktop problem
• Basic hardware knowledge
• Basic network knowledge and troubleshooting
• Must be able to take duties outside of job specifications
• Must be able to build team rapport and willingness to share knowledge
• Must be able to multitask and work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Must be able to work in a team and independently
Requirements
• Applicants must be willing to work in SS2, Petaling Jaya
• Applicants must be willing to work on Alternate Saturdays and OT if required
• Applicants must possess driving license (B2 or D)
• Applicants must possess a Diploma in Information Technology / relevant
• Prefer Malay / Chinese Male
Salary Range: Starting RM 1400 depending on experience level
