Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
Responsible to independently and effectively conduct daily routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
Assist in monitoring and analysing to improve plant electrical installation to ensure reliable and dependable quality services with minimum disruption to plant operations.
Comply all the maintenance activities with statutory legal regulatory and legislation requirements such as Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS), Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Electricity Supply Act 1994, Integrated Management System, Information Security Management System and etc.
Capable to carry out electrical maintenance independently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic or higher learning institutes or Technical Certificate in Electrical Discipline with no less than 5 years’ experience in industrial Electrical equipment maintenance.
Chargeman – Low voltage system with overhead lines and syncronisation (A0).
Optional requirement; Authorised Entrant & Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP) or Authorised Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor (AGTES).
Minimum 3 years‘ experience in power generation field with work experiences in electrical field maintenance of CCGT or conventional plants or 5 years’ experience as electrical technician in other related industry.
Knowledge and experience in maintenance of electrical motors,
generators transformers, UPS/ battery chargers, motor control
centres and other electrical equipment.
