JOB SCOPE:
To be responsible for managing the overall Teacher and Educational Professional recruitment process, including the effective utilization of the school’s teacher recruitment platform, thus ensuring that teacher recruitment and selection procedures and practice meet the operational needs of the school.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing, developing and maintaining the teacher recruitment process
Acting as the single point of contact for all teacher applicants
Promptly and appropriately responding to inquiries for teaching vacancies
Conducting initial screening of applications, including discarding of unsuitable candidates based on agreed criteria
Assisting with final shortlisting of applicants including arranging, coordinating and managing all aspects of teacher applicant interviews
Using social media to effectively support and enhance teacher recruitment
Monitoring the costs of the teacher recruitment process
Developing the recruitment process and suggesting recruitment innovations and implementing any improvements that are agreed
Researching and suggesting teacher advertising options
Reviewing recruitment software and suggesting alternative options that may better suit the school’s needs
Provide support for Senior Leaders on each campus if required when recruiting for internal vacancies
Manage the administration of recruitment checklists for documentation, ensuring that these are complete, accurate and up-to-date
Manage, develop and update the Working With Us google site for new teachers
Ensure the smooth relocation and induction process including flights accommodation and HR documentation (work permit, loan, EPF etc.)
Managing compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act with respect to the storage of, access to and destruction of teacher applicant personal data
Booking of flights and accommodation
Contract management
Manage the single central record

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably with a Bachelor degree with at least 5 years working experience in an educational environment
Highly proficient in IT skills including Google Suite, MS Office, etc.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and work with discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Highly organised and able to work under pressure to manage multiple priorities and projects
Meet deadlines and available to work during weekends and contactable whenever necessary
