Role is to manage and maintain the computer systems and associated network connections (as appropriate) to ensure high availability, security of the supported business applications, and minimize downtime. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation
Primary Responsibilities
* Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers data accuracy, viability and value
* Overseeing the ongoing development and operations of a business intelligence architecture that enables fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis and insight generation.
* Coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to implement desktop and server systems that utilize industry best practices to meet corporate objectives.
* Deploy workstations, servers, printers, scanners, firewalls, network devices, VOIP systems, encryption systems, and all host security systems.
Operational Management
* Manage all operating systems and end-user software.
* Manage and administer support system and queues, company CRM solution (Salesforce), communications; (e-mail, IM,) and connection solutions, including workstation connectivity, local area networks (wired, wireless), VOIP systems, company Web site, intranet, and Internet applications.
* Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data on host computers, multiple databases, and during data transfer in accordance to business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
* Manage input/output date up to and including printers and scanners as defined by manager.
* Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance, as defined.
* Perform system hardening and security audits as defined by management.
* Perform and test routine system backups and restores as defined.
* Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers, input/output, and workstations. Escalate incidents as necessary.
* Practice/manage/log asset management, including maintenance of network/environment component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information as appropriate.
* Support application development teams throughout project life cycles.
* Analyze system, server, application, network, and input/output device performance.
* Recommend, schedule, and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, re-configurations, and/or purchases.
* Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.
* Create required reports in response to business user needs.
* Participate in negotiations with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure software products and services.
* Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Required Qualifications/Skills
* Strong English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
* College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science * 2 years minimum related work experience as IT Support and 1 year minimum related work experience as IT System Administrator.
Knowledge & Experience
* Working technical knowledge of PC and Server operating systems, including Windows OS * (Windows 8.x, MS Server 2012), Cisco networking, UNIX, Centos, RedHat, and virtual environment ESXi/Hyper V.
* Extensive application management and support experience with; Salesforce, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Office, and Adobe.
* Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including [firewalls, Active Directory, DNS, DFS, NFS, CIFS].
* Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
* Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
* Experience with data management and VOIP systems.
* Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
* Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

* Pay:RM2400-3500/month depending on qualifications
