Consider Digital has an immediate need for an experienced PHP backend developer in our office. This is an important position in a fast growing company. This role requires drive to get things done and arranged in corporation with the client and the Consider Digital team.
Job description
The backend developer develops server side applications, web services and API’s, and should have the ability to understand requirements and functional design. Must be able to create (client friendly) documentation for all services and or API’s and assists the frontend team during implementation.

Responsibilities
Ability to develop closely following the functional design, ensuring the wishes of the client and end-user.
Working with creative team and management.
Understanding of technical designs and Keep in control of project timelines and specifications, company’s design, coding and performance tuning standards.
Working closely with other development units in the company to share information regarding application subject matters and know-how.

Job requirements
Working experience of at least 3 years.
MUST have the following skills: PHP, MySQL, XML, JSON, REST, Javascript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS 2/3, Bootstrap
At least 3 year experience working with PHP Fraameworks/APIs and jQuery libraries.
Knowledge of Linux OS is an advantage.
Create Content Management Systems and other database-driven web applications.
Knowledge of Drupal and WordPress
Knowledge of Source control system (Mercurial, GIT, SVN)
Basic understanding of networking and inter connectivity
HTTP
Security
Web services
Able to be a team player.
Communicative, accurate and pragmatic.
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills;
Excellent command of the English language, Bahasa Melayu.
Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is a bonus.
