Your responsibilities
Developing the Region’s marketing communication strategy and maintaining the positive image of the Company, brand, and value proposition in the mind of the customers and employees. Ensuring relevant marketing communication strategy and plans align with global marketing, corporate, and country communications strategies and guidelines
Selecting relevant global marketing communications tools and tactics, adapting, translating, and implementing as required to support sales initiatives and achieve the Company’s objectives in the local business. Contributing to the development of inter- divisional/functional marketing initiatives
Adapting and developing promotional activities using events, fairs, online, communication campaigns and print media, and other communications vehicles to promote products, systems, and services in the whole life cycle of campaigns. Stimulating lead generation through advertising, sponsorship and other promotional activities
Ensuring consistent communication across multiple and appropriate media to extend the Company visibility
Researching, identifying, and selecting external marketing communications service providers. Defining quality and delivery targets of externally assigned activities, monitoring ongoing progress, and resolves issues
Ensuring global targets and metrics for marketing communications initiatives are properly implemented and develop additional local measures as required. Reviewing and evaluating results upon completion of the activities
Maintaining and encouraging a positive and integrated network in internal and external communication communities to promote knowledge of current practices and innovation
Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Driving and ensuring knowhow sharing and cross-collaboration
Being familiar with internal and external digital platforms and support the implementation of digital tools and initiatives in the region, in alignment with global digital marketing team
Your background
Minimum 10 – 12 years of experience in marketing communications function with proven experience and knowledge in minimally one of the industries within Energy Industries Division portfolio – oil & gas, power & water, chemical & refining, and energy-related industries
Must have experience covering countries in the Asia Pacific Region inclusive of China
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, additional languages such as Mandarin will be an advantage
Able to demonstrate practical application of digital marketing and web management skills
Hands-on experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc. Photo and video-editing skills are good to have.
Experience in copywriting, proofreading and editing, with strong attention to details. Critical thinker, creative and proactive learner
Resourceful, great learning ability, ability to work independently and proactively engaging stakeholders with result-oriented attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites – Words, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
