Key Responsibilities;
You will own and manage cargo transhipment process on Maersk network flowing through Asia Hub ports of Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia)
Your key responsibility will be to ensure on time delivery of customer’s cargo flowing through our Hub ports. You do this by ensuring cargo tranships on time as per design or by advancing cargo on earliest vessels where there are network delays
We work in a very dynamic environment and deviation from the plan can be expected. You are expected to handle all cargo contingencies by always considering the impact this will have on our customer’s supply chains and minimising the disruption
You will own a set of services under one of the 4 trade teams (Asia-Europe/Trans-Pacific, Asia-Africa, Asia-Oceania/South East Asia, Asia Imports)
You will be fully empowered and supported by the Management team to review the transhipment product performance under your assigned services and suggest improvement which will best serve our customer’s needs
For a large transhipment Hub port Yard is the ‘Heart’ and your responsibility is to ensure the Heart remains in good health. You do this by making sure the cargo flows freely through our Hub ports and doesn’t stay longer in the yard than absolutely necessary. Through this you also ensure our Hub ports are ready to absorb shocks in the network brought about by global events
A well functioning ocean Hub port is key to offering competitive end-end products to our customers. Running an efficient daily operations and recommending improvement to our HUB operations landscape will ensure our Hubs are ready for future growth. Your role will be crucial to this ambition
You also maximise revenue by making sure our vessels are fully and optimally utilised
You will be expected to timely address our customer’s concerns and queries, coming through our Customer Service teams, related to any deviation to the customer’s booked product
