Responsibilities :-
-Responsible for preparation and finalization of financial statements of the entity, ensuring all content and figures are free from material misstatement and can be substantiated for statutory / legal / tax purposes
-Analysis and review of balance sheet accounts profit and loss issues and execute rectification actions
-Preparation of budget and forecasts and financial plans. Include variance analysis and budgetary control
-Approval of data submission by SSC APAC for all group reporting systems
-Liaising with the SSC APAC on accounting entries and system postings; perform quality verification / periodic audit checks on postings
-Subject Matter Expert / Business Partner or key contact to Segments & Services for financial reporting and management accounting matters; initiate solutions according to situations
-Responsible for accounting treatment for financial instruments / hedging; work with Finance & Treasury on working capital, operating cash-flow and other topics
-Work with Controllers to assess reasonableness of financial results and cost accounting topics
-Work with Taxation to ensure overall tax compliance, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, goods & services tax and transfer pricing topics
-Responsible for liaison with external & internal auditors, tax agents, bankers and regulatory authorities

Requirements :-
-Degree in Accountancy or any other professional accountancy qualifications (ACCA/MIA/CPA)
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience. Constructions background is highly preferred
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, B. Malaysia
-Articulate, confident, result oriented and able to work independently under pressure
-Have strong working knowledge of UBS or any accounting software and proficient in MS Office applications.
-Have good knowledge of local accounting requirement and IFRS.
-Require critical thinking and provide solutions to manage the systems and stakeholders.
-Male/Female with own transport and valid driving license
-Working location Danau Kota, Setapak
-Salary based on experienced
