RESPONSIBILITY
– Handle and maintain full set of accounts and accounting functions
– Ensure accuracy and compliance with current accounting practices & principles
– Ensure timely and accurate recording all payable and receivable document into accounting system
– Ensure timely completeness and accuracy payment to supplier, utilities bill, communication bill, rental, staff claims and others
– Liaise with auditors, tax agents and bankers
– Handle of bank facilities OD, LC/TR
– Supervising and review of report, bank balances and reconciliation as performed by staff for proper accountability and timeliness
– Maintaining the fixed assets register
– Generate and update debit note/ credit note
– Ensure prompt closing of monthly and quarterly accounts
– Preparation of management report
– Maintenance of proper fillings and financial records
– Responsible for disbursement of petty cash and other expenses claim
– Handling accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions and accounting queries from other departments
– Any other roles and responsibilities assigned by Managing Director
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
– Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
– Minimum 3 years working experience in similar position
– Must be a team player and able to work independently
– Must be meticulous and have an eye for detail
– Able to meet tight deadlines
– Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Accounting software such as MYOB & UBS
